I'm getting stronger

Now it's Fall. Can you believe it? Summer has already passed...
...but not time for sadness...
...time for PICTURES

A hot summer day with Grandma Ulla...

She bought me and my cousins a cool "pirate" pool :-)

My moms best friend got married quite a long ways from my house! We stayed there in an apartement and we stood in a lot of traffic jams :-(

But I got to "drive"!

I really like my new bed. It's really cosy... and I can stand in it so much better than anywhere else.

 

I can sit on my own now and I am trying really hard to learn how to crawl. 

But it's hard you know and sometimes quite exausting... 

But I am very happy, that I can finally get to the things that I really want to get to and don't need to call for mom and dad everytime I want to switch positions!

Very soon I might be able to go anywhere...

My Blessing

The whole big family was there... So many people came to meet me and to give their blessing to me.
It was such a special day...
The weather was perfect and everything looked so beautiful.

After everyone arrived my parents led everyone through a ceremony. There was quite a bit of talking and many  good whishes for me. Everything was very exiting and I knew, that this was a very special day for me...

My grandpa did the introduction.

My dad told us why we were all sitting there. My parents didn't want to babtise me in the traditional way. But I had still not met everyone from my family and I think everyone can use some good wishes and blessing in their life. So my parents and my godparents held beautiful speeches for me and my life. 

             

My aunts Kathy and Lena played a beautiful piece of music!

Part of the day was a fire ceremony. Everyone wrote a special wish on a piece of paper and came to the front to burn it. While everyone did that we sang and my great aunt played the guitar!

           

                

           

           

 As a suprise, my moms family and friends sang a song about little children growing up like apple trees :-)

After the ceremony there was time to eat, play and laugh...

           

         

In the evening we planted my tree in the garden. It's my little apple tree :-)
